The Bhishma Plate Div-II

This is the fourth race in todays (27/6/2015) card.

Let me analyse the horses from bottom up one by one.

• MOHER  - This 4yo filly finished 2nd in her last start.Earlier she has won a Class B race in her 8th career start and with no consistent running pattern it is difficult to consider her here.
• WHAT A WONDER - is 4yo winner of the same class appears to be on a weight reduction mission, and has got an outside chance to upset.
• SHOOT OUT - With negative jockey factor I am ruling out this gelding's chances. Also his age is also a negative factor.
• OCEAN PARK - is a 4yo gelding who is a Class B winner which in itself a disincentive for me and combined with the fact that 4KG claimer has been declared to ride dissuades me to consider.
• JAMES BOND - has won the same class and there after seems to have had a slight veterinary set back. Feed back Jockey D Patel has been entrusted to observe the progress after the set back rather than make a race of it is my assumption.
• SUEZY OH - Last start winner in lower class. Now will start the mission of getting the weights reduced for another try in the lower class after 6 or 7 runs. Cant be fancied here. I am also of the opinion that by accepting this horse here the trainer has managed to send his other hopeful Passion Flora to division III is the main purpose for this horse here.
• KIMORA - was withdrawn last outing. Is a 5YO running against younger horses. Can't fancy here.
• FOREST QUEEN - is a maiden 4yo. Has run a good race last week. Now entrusted to a decent Jockey. Has the capability to make a race of it if given the green signal. Cannot be ignored.
• MILLROSE - Has one career win in M3YO category, and was ante-post favourite in her last start before Volcano was fancied at race time in Race 49. This filly must win a race before this season ends but I am sure that today is the day.
• FAUSTINA - The breeder & owner of this filly must thought highly about her in the early stages that he had entered he in Hyderabad Derby 2015. As it turned out this filly was just the ordinary, and could only be raced in handicaps. This filly has won in the same class and therefore her chances are that much less. The handicapper has not reduced her rating not even by 1 point even though she came only 4th in her last start trailing the winner by over 7 1/2 lengths shows she has capability.
• ANDROSTOS - Is the horse for this race. Has run with best of the company having participated in graded races early in her career. It is surprising he is still a maiden. We have to take his previous run with a pinch of salt when he ran second as an overwhelming favourite to Fresh Start with Zervan astride. It was the first run after being gelded and therefore the instructions must have been not to go easy.With the top rider declared to guide the fortunes of this gelding he should easily annexe this race and go on to add at least one more race before the season ends.
